Well, looks like it might take you 2 days of driving enjoyment, then (to get to the track, or back)!
Which still means you can get it all into one week of vacation time, and still be back home before the next weekend.

Looks like it might actually turn out better having it monday-tuesday, especially since the monday is a holiday!

 

Heck, even if it's two days drive away, you could get away with only taking three days of vacation:

Drive there Saturday-Sunday
Expo Monday-Tuesday (1 day vacation)
Drive back Wednesday-Thursday (2 days vacation)
Go to work Friday

 

true, but that'd mean putting 4000 mi on the R in 5 days, ouch. Give me a few of these first. heh

 

I'll be well over 100K miles by then (probably closer to 110K).

Putting mileage on a car is not a valid excuse. IMO
