Default For those of you who have obd2 swap in obd0 cars...FITV??

I have a 91 civic si with b18c1 obd2. I have been noticing that my idle is really low when i start her up in the mornings... I think I've narrowed it down to the FITV.. I know that obd2 motors did not come with FITV.
I am still running a chipped pm06 obd0 ecu for this motor...
Is it safe to assume that my obd0 ecu is searching for this FITV to regulate cold air idle? That is the only explaination I could think of.. if it is looking for it to regulate the idle at cold temps.. and it isn't there since my motor is obd2.. then it will just have a low idle I assume...
With that said.. I guess I'm going to either have to convert to obd2 OR install a FITV on my existing TB?? Anyone know how to do this? Thanks for your help.

You could convert to OBD1

Yeah I know this. But other than converting.. I assume I'll have to get an FITV and install it.. my question is.. from where do the coolent lines come from since my motor doesn't have one already... thanks.

it is most likely the chipped pm6, since the majority of tuner "programs" have the IACV totally disabled.

i have a 96 jdm b18c with one vacuum line and the bare minimum of coolant lines. and i idle normal.

I'm not talkin about the iacv. My warm temp idle is fine.. just when its cold it is very very low. If the chipped ecu disables the fitv then i wouldnt be having this problem.. b ut I think that it didn't disable it which is why it has low idle due to the absense of the fitv in my obd2 motor.

the FITV is mechanical. No wires, just a thermo sensitive spring that opens when coolant is cold.

you would have to swap the entire TB most likely.

Ok well that makes sense.. but why would there be no FITV on my particular throttle body? I have an obd2 b18c1. And if the thermo sensitive spring opens when coolant is cold.. obvoiusly it is recieving coolant inside the device itself.. so where does the hose attach to and from where does it come. I would not know this since I currently do not have a FITV installed. Thanks.
