b16a2 goes boom!!
so i made an oops and bent some rods and valves. now im rebuilding with the tech43 piston kit, 82mmbore, running an ls crank and rods. the displacement should come out to about 1880cc's. im getting the head rebuilt by portflow with the omnipower valves/retainers/springs. not sure on which cam i want to use yet. stock intake manfold honed and port matched. i want to run the RSR-GTII exhaust, but we'll see what the availability of that is.
i have a few questions on throttle bodies, and header choices. what benefits will i gain from a bored tb? if ive got the valve job, intake mani ported/honed, will i need the larger throttle body? what does it do besides move more air into the head?
as for header, with an 11.9:1 compression, what would i want to look at for opening up the exhaust. will a jdm-type-r work fine? or should i look into something with a little extra primary? any of you all motor guys that feel like helping please chime in. im open to all comments/critisicm, just dont bash. im looking for 200-210 whp. thanks a bunch!

w'dup eric...so what kind of budget are we talking here...if you want bang for the buck, why not opt for a DC JDM 4-1. oh and btw, my buddy is having a deal on skunk2 stage2 cams right now as well. check my signature for further details. those cams and your block setup with a done up head will net you the power youre looking for and possibly and then some...let me know how it goes.
**** yeah, i might have to yank a set of those *******. will those bride rails youve got work with corbeaus? if so ill take em from you.
