Default Hood Clearance Problems with Wastegate..this time w/pic

Easy to see the problem..i got a 91 Si with a drag gen 2 turbo kit...the way the wastegate is mounted on the manifold,it comes into contact with the hood,i even made spacers too lower engine assembly about 1/4" and it still touches on hard shifts..this is really pissing me off cause i cant install a boost controller yet because fitting will go right thru the hood..so a got a couple of questions about it..does anybody have the same set up(EF w/drag gen 2)..does wastegate position look the same? was a 90 degree elbow missing from my kit? anyone know if anyone has elbows pre-made for drag manifold to deltagate? does drag gen 3 set up for the EG Si have a diff manifold with diff wastegate position?

time to cut your hood and add a little scoop, is it on sheetmetal or reinforcing on the hood - cut it out! or Get two more flanges and some prebent tubing into a more desirable location and have somebody weld it up. the delta is on of the smallest WG out there, sorry guess you're stuck.

My B had issues with hitting the reenforcing of the hood, but a little ziz-wheel action later, and it's got a nice little hole to rest in

Oh yeah that would help the Rev Hard kit. Your picture up top shows that you have one on the side of you wastegate, so just take off the wastegate, put the adapter on and bolt the wastegate to the elbow.
