I have them in my B18A. I never got around to boosting my car, but they work fine NA . From what I have seen they will work good for boost, definately better than stockers because they are forged, but I wouldn't push them like a Wiseco or CP IMO.

SRP
JE
same company,.. just that the SRP contains more silicone content on them and will mantain closer clearances

anyways i got them on my D16Z6 Turbo at 9 psi and they are fine

planning on dyno tunning around 12 psi soon

Same here. Did you use looser piston to cylinder wall clearance for forced induction?

Yea, mine slap like a bitch in the winter too. I think the SRP pistons use the same rings as the normal JE's because I remember seeing "JE" stamped on the rings when I was fitting and filing them.

Nope, I am using Wiseco pistons now. Nothing wrong with JE or SRP's, the Wiseco's were part of a package deal.......they are good quality pieces.

i have or had some srp in my car. They are all cracked/melted right now. I really dont know what happened. Car was running well with them in until now. They only had about 6k miles on them though. Looks like i'm going to get some cp's now.

If they cracked or melted I think that was more an issue of tuning

my timing was at 7-9 btdc and i was running the afc hack (-35% across with 440's). (the guy who built my motor set the timing one tooth off). I had 180-190 psi across all the cylinders after my last time at the track. Went up to pa to get tuned by boosted hybrid. My car overheated almost all the way home. Checked the compression when i got home and it was at 135-145 psi across all cylinders. so that's why i dont think it was the tuning. Jeff said there were no signs of detination while on the dyno..

i know, i wish i knew why. Could the overheating cause it to melt them?
