You actually have an ED. Its the first two letters in your VIN. In Japan the first two letters are EF ...and we all know its awesome to be JDM y0!

An "EG" is a 92-95
An "EK" is a 96-00
An "EP" is a 01-present

These are refering to hatches. I dont know the actual USDM letters for the other hatches because they dont have an *** like my ED

cool thanks guys. From what i remember my vin started with a J and a bud told me that's because it's one of the ones that where actually made in japan

 

Check for a big white sticker with black writing on the inside of your driver door. Also under the hood right near the crossmember that holds your hood latch there should be a small plaque. Mine says "Honda of Canada"

Carp...dont be so hard on yourself Its not as if calling our cars ED's is really common.
