Default Crankshaft Pulley Key.

I just got my jdm d15b and I started changing the timing belt on it. When I get to take the crankshaft pulley off it comes off with ease (impact wrench ). But then I notice there is no key there? How easy are they to get from honda? Also..., since there is no key, is the engine okay?, how do i know or not.

chances are you dropped it when the pulley came off. should be able to get it from the dealer. let me see if i can get you a part number.

I'm pretty sure all the crank pulley keys should be ok. Your motor will be OK if there wasn't a key there since the crank pulley only powers the engine accessories.

yea, but it'll make it difficult to set the ignition timing correctly

I believe that is the number for the crank pulley key. Used on multiple models IIRC and your locak Honda dealership should have it in stock.
