top dead sensor

I got a CEL code 8 top dead sensor....can anyone tell me where it is located?

i got that code once on my accord. i just reset the ecu, and i havent seen the code for 80000mi

This sensor is located inside the distributor - its part of the distributor sub-assembly which also contains the other 2 sensors: CYL and CKP.

If this sensor really is bad, your only option is to replace the entire sub-assembly and swap over your old igniter/coil/cap/rotor/dust shield.
