Well i just came back from the muffler shop, and i can barely hear my vtec kick in, before today the thing would scream like a bitch.The reason i put a new exaust on was because there was 3 huge holes in my muffler,
I got a stock exaust put on, and now vtec sucks.
Also its a really hot and humid day today, does that have anything to do with it?

How many stock cars can you really hear vtec kick in anyways? As long as it is kicking in, thats all that really matters right? Who cares how loud it is.

It was probably your holes in the muffler making it louder. Now that you have a functioning muffler, its quieter. Amazing what those muffler things do.

I think you suck for making this thread.

 

Since you most likely have internially stock D series, you will never realyl hear VTEC kick in.

Its the holes in the muffeler, theres a guy around here with holes cut into his muffeler and its really loud and annoying.

 

when i had my ef i ran open pipe .but when i put my exhaust on .i didnt hear vtec at all it took it a while to get use to having a pipe on again.it has to get use to the atmosphere again
