Apexi WS2 muffler baffles.
I already got it, and it's installed. Great muffler.
I read or recall WS2 is not a straight through design. It's a can with baffles or a chamber muffler. That's why it's so quiet.
Questions: Are there any performance gains at all with the WS2? I don't track the car so it does not matter. But I just like to know.
Or is it more like a louder stock muffler because stock muffler is full of baffles.
TIA
P.S. search does not work so sorry if this was asked before.

Then the butt-dyno says 'no'
Cannister exhausts like WS2 and Tanabe SMH and GReddy SP2 just have bigger piping and a more free-flowing baffled muffler, so they allow for less backpressure. In all honnesty, on a stock motor, they probably make you lose a little bit of low-end. But they look good and sound great (ie, not like a bunch of pissed off bees in a whoopie cushion). Get what you like, and enjoy
