Default B18C1 CRX ECU Questions

I have a 91 CRX DX with an OBD-I GSR motor in it. Currently, a ZDyne gold series ecu is running my car. The ecu is for a b16a though. My question is do you think i should try to find the p72 GSR ecu or just stick with the zdyne one??

if you can change fuel/timing with yours. I would just run 95 gsr maps on the ecu.

It depends if you're running your car stock or with mods...ideally, you want the P72 if you're running a stock motor because of the dual runners...but as everyone said, it's best to just get your Zdyne tuned to how your car is currently set up. Is you car wired for obd1? Because you may need a conversion harness if you want to run the P72 and still wired obd0.

The p28 (chipped) is a great choice if you are using a custom IM, and the p72 is good for the stock IM. Assuming you are obd1.

I don't think that setup can come close to even touching a tuned Zydene.

Well right now my car is the stock gsr motor, with intake, headers, cat, exhaust. Im thinking of getting the p72 ecu untill i do full fuel systems/mild internal work next year. id still keep the zdyne one (obviously) and run it when my car is ready to be tuned
