Default What ECU to run

I am curious what ECU to run.

Setup:
JDM B18C
I/H/E

I do not want to tune or anything and having a CEL is not a problem. So my question is, what's better to run to get maxim performance out of my motor?

OBDI P28 chipped with GSR basemaps?
or
OBDII P72?

If youre not going to tune the car or play with maps, just use a std p72 ecu.

If you have an obd2 chassis, you would have to spend money on an obd1 ecu, a chip to run it properly, and a jumper harness.....for really nothing at all, since you wont be changing anything.
Seems like a waste of money, on your end, and a waste of an ecu that someone else could use better.

Hmm I get what your saying. I mean Acura GSR owners that have I/H/E probably just stick to that ECU instead of an OBD1 ECU so why should I change mine, right?

If you were tuning the car, there would be a point in changing the ecu. Youre not. So leave it alone.
Even if you were to tune it, with those mods you would see little to no gain from tuning anyways.
