Crank bolt wont come off!!!
Tried everything Heated it up hit it with an impact gun. used a 24" breaker bar... used a 24" breaker bar with a pipe and Julio pushin and pullin on it and still won't come loose... Arrrrrrgh any suggestions?
When i first changed my Crank pulley it required a 3/4 inch impact gun with 120 psi @ 12.5 cfm to get it off. Even then it took about 2 minutes of pure hammer to get it off.
Oh yes. and heating won't help you any only make it worse. just think expanding metal in a close space.

dont go too much higher than what the gun is supposed to take. try a 1/2 ir titanium does 1000 lbs of torque the only bolt me or anyone i know came across that it couldn't take off was one that a 1 inch gun at 2750 couldnt remove it either it had to be burned off

It's free!!!!! We did it it took 1100ft lbs!!! Hammering away for about 3 minutes and it finally gave way. I'm gonna find a way to post pics.
You gotta see the bolt its dented from the pressure of the impact gun.
But it's finally off.

I had the same problem. I was afraid I was gonna break the breaker bar in half. I took mine into Acura and they got it off in 5 minutes (including the time to lift and lower the car and take the wheel off) and didn't charge me anything. The bastards/
I have a 1993 Honda Accord and I have been trying to remove the blancer bolt for 3 days now. I got the special tool to hold the blancer and I put my Impact on it for about 10 or 15 Min and didnt do nothing. I put my braker bar with a 3 ft pipe on it and twisted the Extention about 1/2 way so now the letters go around the extention. Now last night I heated the bolt and tryed it with a new extention bar and didnt bugg so I put a jack to hold the tork all night on the bolt and I just tryed to get it off again HELP HELP WHAT AM I DOING WRONG
using the pulley tool with a sears 1/2" ratchet tucked into the suspension and 3-4ft long breaker bar on the bolt I've always been able to break them loose. You have to use your body weight against the bar and it will let go. which of course means it has to be in the air.
