B18 or LSVTEC?
okay this is the decision I have to make now. I just wrecked my 97 GSR, it is gone but I got the motor. I bought a 1992 integra 4 door and was going to put the GSR motor in it but now I am having serious second thought's. I really want to drop a LSVTEC motor in it. So the question is, What do you guy's think I should do?
The money is not a issue but I want a honest oppinon.

Yea I'm into the all motor thing right now, everyone is telling me that I should put the LSVTEC motor in it if that's the case. But If I end up putting the GSR motor in it, I will boost it for sure, it would be wrong not too>
LS/Vtec in the 92 shell would be a pretty nice set up. I've seen a low 12sec ls/vtec hatchback before and that **** sounds mean as hell, it also whooped up on a V8 Camaro.
Eitherway you can't go wrong. I'm addicted to the boost but im poor so i only get to enjoy it when im in my bro's turbo DC2

Oh yea same here man, I'm poor as hell but got some insurance money from the wreck, so What do I do? Take that money and invest in making my car faster, meaner, and more dangerous. What is the world coming to?
You cant go wrong with the LS/Vtec and making the car meaner and faster, i wish i could say the same for my car haha.
You seem to know what you want and you should update use with your car and remember to also invest in a GOOD SeCURITY system with fuel cut off switch n stuff.
I've seen too many ppl on this board with nice cars get shafted by the thieves.

Yea your right about not going wrong with LSVTEC. The GSR motor I have out of the 97 teggy ran mid 13's with header's, intake, exhaust, built head, hondata, and a little spray, but The engine is almost gone I think so I am pretty confident I'm going with the LSVTEC. I'm going to try saleing the motor cheap to someone I know so that money will be used for the LSVTEC, but I will keep you guy's updated as much as I can, and yea your right about security, I will surely invest in that, but thanx for the help man.

Trust me, I've been in all of the above situations. LS/Vtec is expensive; not only to build it but to maintain it. The same goes for FI. If I were you, I would swap that GSR to the DA and upgrade whatever is wrong with it.

why not build your gs-r motor? bore it out to 2.0l and throw some forged internals in it. why spend money on an ls/v-tec when you have a perfectly good starting point already? unless you just wanna be able to say you have an ls/v-tec. just build your gs-r motor.
you can go wrong wiht the ls/vtec. if it is not done correctly you will seriously screw up your engine, but if it is done right you can get some good power out of it with the right exhaust setup too.
