**Mosquito Joe's revenge?** (I can not believe what just happened!!!)
Alright, most of you are familiar with Mosquito Joe (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=902373).
I was working late into the night on the Integra with the valvetrain dissassembled when it happened. Just as I finished torquing the last bolt down, a June bug landed in my cylinder head. Normally, this would pose no major threat. This insect, however, was intent on his own destruction. Before I could snag him out of the cylinder head, he crawled into one of the oil return feeds and plunged deep into the block.
I drained the oil, assuming he would come out with it. No June bug. He's somewhere in my block. I'm going to try feeding oil down that return tomorrow with hopes he pops out the drain.
The tech question of the evening is: What kind of damage could a full-grown male June bug do to a built D16A1?
I honestly think Karma just kicked my ***.

lol I told you didn't I?! haha don't **** with the bugs! This guy has more bugs in his engine that anyone else. Your title needs to reflect this.
Dude heat cycle that thing once and it will disintegrate.

When your dealing with clearances of .1500 something could happen. I personally know of a instance where human hair got on the back of a main bearing causing the engine to blow.
and just how was that proven
anywho
just get some compressed air and remove the oil pan.......he will come out
he might even come out over night without any coaxing

Lay off the tweak man. Youre working too late into the night. Bright lights at night, no screens, Nebraska, = bugs.
Tweak out and watch Bugs Life.
No pics this time? Maybe you're just halucinating.
Those bugs are instinctively suicidal though. Out here we call em "stupid-bugs".
Whatcha going to name it?
