if I turn on my headlights the radio/cd player doesnt sound
well I did the mistake of thinking I could do this
. but I have looked and lookecd for posible reasons. But my problem is this. I can listen to my radio during the day. But at night the thing works but no sound comes. It beeps when I push buttons but it doesnt play the music. i think I might have accidently crossed some wires. but cant figure out which one. my car is a 91 integra . any body with suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check and see that you dont have the HU ground hooked up to the light lead of the oem radio harness, see it all the time.
hope this helps. 94

what you did was grab an illumination wire and use it as a ground. ( it
will show as a ground because the circuit has not been activated) Just go
back and recheck your wiring.

this is why harnesses are used.
as audioroach stated....check your wiring, you must have the illumination hooked up to a speaker.

when I bought the car it had a pioneer that barely worked and the stock harness was cut and spliced so I had to do it the hard way. I checked the wiring and I found the there was no dimmer wire. I thought that might be one of the problems. but I dont know now since I chek it last night and disconected my antena wire to my remote/antena wire and now it doesnt work even though I had the keys taken out of the ignition. I dont know whats up with it now
