Default ls/vtec w/ pr3 pistons

Hey guys im strongly considerign a da teg thats running an ls/vtec with pr3 pistons, shotpeened ls rods, and some very basic bolt-ons. I was wondering if any of you guys have run this set-up and whats ur opinion of it. Not in terms of reliablitily, weve all seen that thread a billions times, and i believe the engine was built properly. i was wondering what kind of numbers/tiem slips u guys have seen w/ it, and yes im aware of the million diff factors just looking for an idea. Also, with its high comp, boost is obviously out of the question, what kind of upgrades would u guys reccomend. Thanks guys i searched a bit but didnt get any solid threads

We ran this setup in our project car to test the frame. The PR3 piston are higher than the P73 piston(ITR). My brother who drives our cars said that the torque on it is better than the GSR Motor. If you need any info pm me.

I had this set-up a few years ago, stock GSR head with a chipped P28 ecu in a 92 VX full interior running 14.3 @ high elevation. Reving it up passed 8500 with no problem. You can notch the rod to accept the GSR bearing which is more reliable than the LS.

yeah my friend is running the pr3's with the ls rods and basic bolt ons with some agrdssive cams. his compression was higher and had better torque n his ls vtec. he ran mid 13's in his teg,
