can i reuse my gasket for my valve cover since i have to adjust the vavles ? or better yet get a new gasket

how does yours the gasket look? if its in good shape i wouldn't worry about it... otherwise replace... they are pretty cheap.

no i never touch the valve cover gasket when i got it

 

Might as well replace it then.

I would

 

If the rubber is hard, replace it.

 

It wouldn't hurt to replace it, but not necessary.

I have taken off my VC many times and never replaced it.
