removal of an AC piece???

Default removal of an AC piece???

the big **** that is in the middle of the car behind the middle vents and beside the avaporator. can i remove that big thing with out removing the dash or i have to???

if it is not necessary to remove the dash, can any body help me out with this?? how many screws? where?

are you talking about the heater/core ??

Cuase if you want to remove that, just take out your dash. It's just common sense, work threw the dash remove everythng you see. Remove all thoose vents, remove the GIANT/heavy heatercore. You can also remove your psgnr airbag at this time as well. You will also need to loop your coolant lines

man.. i had a BITCH of a time removing mine w/o taking off the dash... there were several screws and clips that i could not see.. its cluttered doing that stuff from underneith... maybe its just me..

that and it would be half-assed, you need to taske the dash off for the vents. No sense in leaving extra weight

very much half assed... i ended up taking off the dash... it was much easier.. i forgot to mention that i did that.

On a car with A/C do you need to remove the evaporator (i.e. purge the a/c system too) to remove the core as the Helm's says to or can you get by with "just" removing the dash?
