Default Strange Voltage problem... Think its Hondata related...

Here is my setup...

2000 Civic Si
b16a2
Custom Kit
Hondata S200 w/ boost, datalogging, & rom editor w/ p28 ECU
Boomslang Xover Harness

I just put in my digital voltmeter, and I began noticing something... While on throttle at any percentage, voltage drops, sometimes as low as 12.0 volts. When I am on Decel in gear, the voltage quickly climbs back up, but when I hit the throttle to any level, the voltage begins to drop.

Also, I notice that my volt gauge reads anywhere from .3 to .7 volts lower than my blitz turbo timer... Both are tapped into the same wire, directly to the ignition. I am going to solve that problem by tapping my multimeter into the same wire and see which is more accurate.

Should I disconnect the ALTC wire from the ECU Harness? Will this throw a CEL? Will this cause over/under voltages?

With similar problems I have had with Hondata systems, this fixed it.
Good luck.

Alt-C wire - just unpin it and see what happens. This has been the fix to many people using Hondata.
