Default anyone running jrsc sohc?

i ran a search on this but couldn't find the answer i am looking for.

see, the problem i am sick of downshifting on the highway when i have cruise set in 5th gear and have to get up a hill. it is really pissing me off. i have an aem v2 and a dc sports cat back and those really didn't help at all. i was wondering if the jrsc had enough low-end grunt to pull me up a hill w/o downshifting while on the highway? i would turbo it, but i need low end, not high. i don't race or anything, it's just my daily driver. anyone have any idea if the jrsc works well enough to perform the duty i want it to? i know, i know, i would love a b20 vtec setup, but i am a poor broke-*** college kid. i was just wondering about the jrsc because i can get a used one for around $1k. let me know somethin.
