Default Hood clearance problems with wastegate

here's my problem,,i got a 91 Si with a Drag Gen 2 Turbo kit on it..the way the wastegate is mounted on manifold.it comes into contact with the hood..i even made spacers too lower engine assembly about 1/4" and it still touches on hard shifts...this is really pissing me off cause i cant install a boost controller yet cause fittings will go right thru the hood..so my question is..does anybody have same set-up(EF w/drag gen 2 kit) ..does wastegate position look the same? was a 90 degree elbow missing from my kit?...anyone know if anyone has elbows pre-made for drag manifold to deltagate?

opps...that sucks about the picture..i dont understand why it wont work like that..i did the same with the pic in my profile and it worked..gotta try another way

Well you cant post the picture off you hard drive 1st off. But you need a 90 degree elbow so that you can mount the wastgate sideways.

Hmm, you can't link pictures from your hard drive, you have to upload them somewhere on the web and then link to them.

Sorry I can't help you with that....but I believe that's where the Drag Gen III fixes the problem.

EDIT: Damn PWRVTEC, you beat me.

Earl's Fittings makes a nice right angle fitting that will solve the problem.
