Default If the tming belt was ONE tooth off...

I replaced the timing belt on my wife's 91 accord. After finishing, the car drove pretty sluggish. It ended up I was one tooth off on the timing belt. Since adjusting the belt one tooth, it has run well. I haven't noticed any problems.

Could there still have been damage done with the belt off ONE tooth? What kind of tolerance is there? I know some engines can have serious damage if even one tooth off. How about Honda? Thanks.

No, no damage at all.
