Crankshaft pulley....
For some reason i cant get the crankshaft pulley bolt off the engine (to set timing belt up) Ive been using a 3/4 in air gun and it wont budge it. ive broke 2 adpaters from 3/4 to 1/2 already. ARE the threads regular threads or are they the backwards threads? Thanks
It's reagular threads.
Search - you'll find all sorts of methods to get that bolt out.
The "best" method IMO is a LONG breaker bar. You can make one out of a LONG piece of pipe slipped over the end of a 3/4" drive handle. Preferably you will want to use a flex T-handle and not a ratchet. If you have a Crafstman of Snap-On set and you don't feel bad about returning broken tools, then maybe give the ratchet a try. Make sure it's 3/4" drive because the 1/2" break all the time. Get a long extension so the handle is outside the fender well (or just put a bunch of extensions together. Slide the pipe over the handle and pull that thing over, or stand on it, or whatever. I use a 5 foot length of old used galvanized pipe and it pops the crank pulley bolt out like butter every time.
Air tools don't always get the job done.

the threads are regular. i hate the crank pulley bolt. i've messed with mine for days before i could get it out!! do a search for "crank pulley" on here. there are some great ideas on how to get it out!! i pretty much tried everything.
but here is what i finally ended up doing:
- bought a chain vice grips tool. and put an old alt./power steering pump belt over the crank pulley threads. and i then tighten'd the chain wrench tool over that. and it got wedged in there. so that the crank pulley couldn't move any more. and i then used my air tools, long breaker bar, everything. and it finally came out!!
