Anyone seem the new DC5 ITR in richmond this afternoon??

the dude who was driving the car was aparently a manager from Acura. (probably not a dealer sales manager, probably Acura regional manager or some sort)
Anyway, he said we will have the new ITR for sure, price wise, only few K more than dc2r.

It was an amazing sighting. Time to save $$$$$

 

so 28 Grand for a car that is only marginally faster than its predecessor, which can be had for between 18-23K? No thanks.

 

I am talking about CDN though.
Which is probably around 34000 or 35000 CDN.

 

it might be this fake. rsx-s with a sunroof to boot... i have nothing against putting itr parts on your car, but putting the stickers on too makes it a fraud

Damn, that is one nice RSX. Nicest one I see beside those real TypeR one that JDM company brought over from Japan. And everyone should know by now that there is NO real new TypeR in North America yet, so no need to say it is a fraud or anything.

Is this one from BPT? Damn, whoever own this really go all out to make it looked like as close as to the real TypeR as possible. Nice work. I have seen many RSX-S that with just the bodykit and spoiler. But none of which have the complete switch over like this one.

Come on guys, if you people think those RSX-R with just the TypeR bodykit look nice, then what wrong with this one when it has the whole bodykit, spoiler, looked like custom champiship white paint job, TypeR wheel, (Recaro seat ???), and more. I have people should give credit to someone that tried his best to go all out and try to make the RSX-S as close as the Integra R as possible.

Well, may be some of you people are just jealous that someone actually have the money to spend that much cash on a RSX to make it look this close to the real TypeR and say bad word about it. I know, because I am very JEALOUS too.

I wonder how much the whole conversion cost? As much as the new car or more??

Not sure why anybody would want a DC5 Type-R when you'll be able to buy a Lancer eVII for about the same price. Oh well, I guess not everybody is into fast cars.

 

How come these things always come out of BC? I guess kids have too much cash out there.

I don't think that anyone was criticizing your effort on the car, or saying that trying to make it JDM spec had made it a fake...I think that any amount of criticism was due to the Type-R badges on a car that is not a Type-R.
To each his own, the car looks nice. Any performance mods?
I hope the real deal comes over, just for comparisons' sake to the DC2.

before everyone goes overboard... there's nothing wrong with the car. i like the car. it's labeling it as a type-r that's the problem.... it's just not right! suddenly you become one with all those ricers out there with "focus type-r's" or "celica type-r's" badges on their rides...
