TPS problem.
Ok my car hesitates for a second when I stomp the pedal and my Air Fuel meter goes from Rich to deep into lean. So today I started checking things under the hood. Well I took the plug off the TPS for about 10 seconds and the idle changes. Then I plug it back in and the hesitation isn't there and the car feels alot stronger. But if i shut the car off and start it again, the hesitation comes back, but i can do the same process and get rid of it.
So does anyone know what's up w/ my TPS?
Is it just going bad and needs replaced?

One other thing....unless you're running your air/fuel gauge to a wideband O2 sensor that you added to the exhaust yourself, it's not going to be acurate enough to trust 100% anyway. Its going to fluctuate...thats the nature of it.
Are you getting any error codes?
If your TPS has been altered try setting it, if it is still set from the factory don't touch it.

Are you sure its not 0.5volts at closed throttle and 4.5volts at WOT?
