Default Car dies when i try to drive it!! help!

ok well i have 94 del sol. i just swapped in a d16z6 bc my b16 blew. the car starts right up and idles fine, but as soon as i try to give it any kinda load the car starts to die n bog n doesnt wanna move anywhere. I have already searched n tried almost everything. there is fuel spark for sure. and everything is plugged in right. n how do i check to see if tps is bad could that cause the car not go as soon as i try to engage the clutch n give it alil throttle.

it would be either that your tps is bad or idle air is bad... it could just be where ur plugs r backward on ur tps and idle air... to check ur tps u need a dvom

The signal from the O2 sensor is required for the ECU to determine the optimal air/fuel ratio to burn in the cylinders. Fix the O2 sensor problem first and then go from there.

did it on my hatch and it wouldnt rev past like 3k...could prolly be it. it would idle fine but once you revved it, it would fall on its face.

nah...it shouldnt affect it. you could drive your car without an o2 but you would be running rich as hell. so im doubtful thats your problem.
