Default BRAKE UPGRADE

I HAVE A 97 ACCORD SE. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD ANY FRONT BRAKE UPGRADES-(BIGGER ROTOR AND CALIPER) I KNOW THAT THE ACCORD WAGON HAS A BIGGER BRAKE SET-UP BUT DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL WORK ON MY CAR.

I'm using the 11" rotors from the wagon and I'm very happy with the results. If you do this, you're going to have to use the wagon caliper brackets also.

I just bought the kit from the Accord Store that came with drilled 11" rotors, caliper brackets, and carbomet brake pads. You can probably do it a little cheaper if you piece it together.

why would you upgrade to the wagon callipers when the legend 2 piston callipers are probably cheaper (or similar priced) and come with larger pistons than the nsx callipers...just my .02...i'm using this setup and it stops pretty quick...

All Honda/Acura calipers are 1 piston except for NSX and certain Legend calipers.

You can run legend/cl 3.0/prelude vtec brakes w/ 15" wheels.

My setup is

Accord Wheel Bearings
CL 2.3 Hubs
CL 3.0 Rotors
Prelude VTEC Calipers/Brackets

This setup fits under my stock 7spoke rims and my 15" Kosie Rims.

This converts your brakes to rotor over hub, instead of hub over rotor.
Oh, I have Accord SS lines, but they don't fit right w/ Prelude brakes, the brakes pulls the line to short, so you can't bolt the line down to the knuckle, nothing a ziptie or 2 can't take care of though.

NTM its cheaper/lasts longer and will be a very nice upgrade comparible if not better than a typical 'brembo' aftermarket kit.
