What year dsm motors can i use to swap on to a 97 ex?

none, i'm assuming you are talking about the dsm turbo setup onto the accord, and not the motor included....if so, it only swaps to the f22a...

And if you're talking about the actual motor, the 4g63 (90-94 DSM, 95-99 Turbo DSM) isn't at all an easy swap - i wouldn't recommend it. Same goes with the 420a (non-turbo 95-99) chrysler engine - but that one is pretty weak.

I would imagine with enough time and money, the 4g63 swap is possible, but probably not worth it.

(and if you were thinking about the turbo setup, the stock t-25 on the dsm's is NOT that great)

the 14b is a very good turbo...from the 90-94 dsms

95-99 dsm guys upgrade from the t25 to the 14b

The T25 is a decent turbo. Small, and spools very quick. It's only downfall is the amount of boost it can handle/provide.
