Default H22a, JRSC & 440 injectors, I/E/H, Hondata S200, AEM Rail & FPR....What fuel pressure????

Need some suggestions on what fuel pressure to run with this setup. Right now it's at 60PSI at idle, spiking to 80 at WOT. Seems a bit high to me, but I don't realy know where it should be. According to my A/F gauge it's running pretty rich(digital bar graph type, 100% lit when cold, ~80% of gauge is lit after engine warms) I'm looking over everything to try and solve my Vtec problems. The car pulls nicely until 5500,VTEC hits, then a slight stutter and the car quits pulling and gains revs much slower.

I know most everyone is going to ask if I've had it tuned, and the answer is no. I'm set to tune in about 2 weeks, but I'd like to try and solve the VTEC issue before then if possible. Perhaps it is a fuel/timing issue that can only be fixed with new maps, but I'd like to explore every other possible cause before it goes to the tuner. My oil pressure peaks to 80psi at high revs, so it shouldnt be a spooling/pressure issue, though I wont rule it out just yet.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

fuel pressure doesn't really matter if you have hondata. Just set it to something and leave it, tune with the hondata and not the fpr

What Satan said, and I would just take it easy until you get it tuned. Good posibility of messing up your motor before you get it tuned by running it hard into VTEC.

Yeah, I've been driving it easy and staying out of VTEC so I don't hurt the poor thing. I even set my shift light down to 5K lol So would you guys aree that 60PSI and spiking 80 is "ok"? Should I just leave it there and wait for the tune, or maybe turn it down a bit?

And as for the VTEC issue, any ideas there? Can you list some common causes for VTEC problems such as I'm having? Could it simply be because it hasn't been tuned?

I would say leave it until you get it tuned, and yes, good posibility that tuning will solve *most* of what your noticing. Obviously you may have something else that we don't know about blah blah blah, but ya, just wait until you get it to the tuner.
