How many 1997 ITRs are really left?
I ve people post up topics asking to account for all 98 and 00, 01 R's but what about the 97's.
My buddies got one, but its totaled and hes still debating on what to do with it, but not sure of the number.

Not many when you minus the ones moms and pops bought for their non-driving spoiled brat teenager that couldn't drive and wrecked it. Also the other half that were stolen by some broke *** bastard. I almost forgot that some of them were bought and stripped to be racecars, what the F*ck buy a gsr and put a type r in it and race dont violate a limited edition car. So now we have probably a good 250 out of the 500 sold. Its a damn shame thieves and rich kids can sure f*ck up a classic.

honestly, i agree, but the GSR doesn't have the same body, chassis, or suspension as the type r. you can build a strong motor in a GSR and never have the same track car that the ITR is. my .02
