I'll tell you what happened the other day I driving to Albuquerque (appox. 3 hour drive) and I was about an hour away when my brights went out, both of them i don't know why (problem 1). Then on my way back i was about 5 minutes away from my house and the whole car goes dead, smoke starts coming from the dash, temp. is all the way up (only when i was pressing the gas pedal), my stereo shorts out and I can still drive the rest of the way home but i can't go past 2 grand. So when I get home i pop my hood and the battery was fried, but it has a lifetime warranty so i replace it and my alternator.(because my alternator was pushing way to many volts) So i thought the problem was fixed and I went to bed I wake up the next moring and my car is dead! And when I put the battery charger on it, when the positive kicks on to charge my distributor starts clicking? I have the stock D16A6 and I haven't done any crazy mods yet so i don't know why my wiring would be messed up. But I need help can someone please help! I have no clue I checked all my ground under the hood twice and replaced a couple and nothing! Thanks to anyone who can help.

 

u got a serious *** short in ur wire some where

 

electrical problems are something u should bring to a shop.... bc electrical problems can lead to ELECTRICAL FIRES... dont want ur car to burn up!

 

if you don't know what you doin take it to a shop
