Default ALMS + Speed GT and World Challenge at Mid-Ohio pics

These (and those in the album) are some of the best out of the 600 or so I took over the weekend, unfortunately, the TC race pics didn't come out so great . Hope you like what I got though.

*One of the cars Willard and Trackrat were helping with over the weekend

The rest of the pics are here: http://www.phear7imports.net/g...lenge

If anyone wants any full size prints (up to 20"x30"), let me know....

Was it just me, or were the 550 Maranellos no shows? I saw the Vettes, the Saleen, and the Lambo, but no Ferraris...

Great pics by the way!

Didn't see any 550's or 575's . The Murcielago R-GT made up for them, in sound at least

Thanks for the compliments guys

I wasn't an official photo guy, just an amateur looking for no fences blocking the view . But I was wearing a blue hat that had "DJX" on the front, but I don't think you're talking about me

I dont think so either. You did a good job of dodging fences. Most of my shots were riddled with them.

I must have been sitting right behind chris93si when the viper blew up right by the small stands. I was wearing a gray Circa shirt and had an EOS 10D. Race was good fun, great weather too

Good shots Brian, you just hop the fence, click, and go?

That's worked for me, no one knows if you're quick.

Any fireball shots of the Lambo?

Amazingly there was no fence hopping! I was surprised myself by the good photo spots available to the "unpriviledged".

I don't think I got any fire from the Lambo, a bit from the Dyson cars though

I have to admit the Lambo looks pretty wicked. But then I liked the Miura when it came out when I was a little whipper snapper (long ago).

Did that Viper lose a motor?

There was a ton of smoke and I heard caused more accidents.

Yeah it did, I know one of the BMW's wrecked while going through the smoke screen.

Thanks alot Brian. Means alot coming from a photographer as good as you are.

From looking at some of your pictures I think you were sitting right behind me on the grandstands on the back straight as well as nearby a few other places. Oh well
