My girlfriend Jen is pretty much out of the game, shes sick of all the heartache and problems associated with forced induction.
Heres what is for sale:
Complete B20Vtec long block. Specs:
B20 block, GE sleeved/bored to 85.5mm;
Endyn Rollerwave 9.5:1 pistons;
Crower Rods;
GSR girdled bottom end.
Was run for 20 miles with no wastegate spring, never taken above 4k rpm.
Compression test yeilded 225psi on all 4 cylinders; VERY strong runner.
Head:
B16A head, cylinder matched to 85.5mm. Stainless Valves, Ti retainers, dual valve springs. Good to 10.5k rpm.
I would like to keep them together, mainly because of the cylinder matching, but will probably part-out.
You will need a head gasket, $100 from GE. The "problem" we were speaking of is the infamous passenger front corner coolant leak, that is common on LS/Vtecs. This was supposed to be a show car, and drips of coolant leaks isnt really a good thing under a car.
Would like $3500 as-is, no warranties implied. Buyer pays for shipping, or picks up.
This turbo manifold,downpipe, and radiator hose is also up for grabs, we would like at least $1200 for the set. You will need to move your radiator to the passenger side for the downpipe to clear on a stock chassis.
Now, for the trade part:
If anyone has a STOCK, MINT, NEVER BOOSTED, COMPLETE GSR long block+$(negotiable), or a full GSR swap, this is yours....
Or, a FULL k20 swap, and we will pay you(or give more parts).
Pictures:
*can take more upon request*
OK, fine, here are some more pics, its sitting in the driveway as pictured right now....

we want to keep the engine fresh, better chance of selling than if tuned on. Car was run on stock p28 ecu at 50psi fuel pressure, stock obd0 injectors(resistor box of course). The bump in fuel pressure was to accomodate the almost 2.1 liters. No CELs, Vtec has never been engaged.

I dissabled the IMs because the pop-up bloker kept wipign them out, and I would get 20-30 IM daily. You try sorting through all those IMs in your profile! Just email me, it wont hurt too bad

We found a GSR swap, I think we are going to stick w/that for ease of install,etc. We may put the GSR in and still sell the car, so the easier it is to get running again, the better.

A sort of miraculous thing happened...from moving the car around the yard, all the heating/cooling, the head gasket must have decided to seal tight. I think we may actually end up just running the engine.
We were going to work out a trade w/someone on the 5th, but I do not have time to pull the engine before then.
Ill post back up after the 5th if we decide wtf we are going to do for sure.
