Default autocross numbers and codriving

this weekend will be my first time autocrossing this weekend at a 2 day event in ny at nassau coliseum. How would someone find out what numbers are taken. This car a friend and i built is going to be an autocross only car and i would like to get some vinil made and it would be a pain in the *** to have to get the numbers re made every time.

And i was also wondering what do u have to do in order to have a co driver for an event. From what ive heard you have to add a one to the beginning of the number.
TIA for any info

You could use magnetic numbers and rearrange them as needed.

For example, I have 256. If I had a co-driver, it wouldn't be too hard to register myself as 256, and register the co-driver as 562, and move the 2 around. Or, you could have vinyl for a 2 digit number, and have a magnetic 1.

To find out the numbers that are already taken, you'll need to join the yahoo group, or just pick some numbers and get lucky. Here's a link to the website with all the information for NYR http://www.autox4u.com/nyr.htm. See you there.

you can just add a one to your friends number or put tape over one of his numbers. the adding of the one is just the easiest way to run a different number on the same car.
