HELP! My cigarette lighter isn't working

I have a 96 Honda Preldue, type S.

Ever since my new cd player was installed I haven't been able to use my cigarette lighter. I tried going to BOTH fuse boxes, but can't seem to find out which fuse the lighter is connected to.???

Can someone please help!!! I need to know what to do...

Is it plugged in?? There's a plug behind it, maybe they knocked it off....

the fuse is in the engine compartemnt. its under the "inside lights" or "small lights". just look for a burnt fuse. after that your going to need to trouble shoot... see if its getting power or not. there could be a number of things wrong with your lighter.

the basic wiring for anything is: power source (battery) - fuse/breaker - switch (lighter) - ground

it could be a fuse. your power supply, your switch, or your ground isnt secure enough.
