hey whats up guys I just bought a 96 ex coupe everything int he car works good and runs fine but the one problem is the stereo doesnt want power up. lights go to it but cant hit on or anything. I was wondering if it could possibly be the fuse on it if there is a fuse?

stock or aftermarket deck? and yes there is a fuse under the dash for the radio. i think the lights are on a different fuse and are hooked to the dashlights (on stock decks)

yea its a stock deck. I have an after market but my funds are a little low to get it put in

Check the "backup" fuse in the engine bay fuse box

id say speak more clear ...does the radio power on at all...if it doesnt...check the fuse box under the dash most likely u screwed up a fuse while connecting it...and if everything checks out maybe its just the radios messed up...get a deck meng its 2008 or an indash!

I checked the fuse under the car it wasnt there. so I put one in and it still didnt work. the radio just wont turn on it doesnt light up for like the time or anything . just the trim lights basically if you know what I mean. Ill check under the hood tomorrow. And I am getting a deck this weekend but if I could fix the radio It would be nice to have atleast till this weekend

most likely is the radio....belive me ive messed with radios too much... and if u know about wiring check the back of the radio amke sure everything is plugged in..

jus find out what wire is the power in on your radio and check to see if your gettin 12 volts back there, or use an auto bulb if you don't have a meter.
