HyperDrives are like 1 HPDE session, not HyperCruise (or whatever) like you are thinking of. I instructed HyperDrives last year, I know that they were seperate in the past (hyperdrive was entirely BSR run), but Im curious if they have been combined since HyperDrive payments are now going through NASA.
If they are in fact separate, will BSR be runnign them again?

I didn't say they are touring laps, but they're more like them. Yes, to be even more accurate they could be considered a single novice session. I'll ask Laura in this e-mail I'm about to shoot off, I don't think she checks here all too often.
As racers can we participate in the shotgun rides? I would love to give a friend or two a ride around the track.
Hyperdrives are 20-25 minute sessions on the Jeff Circuit with the entrant driving and an instructor in the car. It is similar to one HPDE 1 session.
BSR will be running hyperdrives and the shotgun rides on the Jeff Circuit. If someone wants to do a shotgun ride, they will be riding in one of the BSR cars with an instructor driving.
US Drift 101 (training school) will be held on Jeff Circuit with BSR doing the teaching.
US Drift Competition will be on Summit Main after road racing and HPDE is done on Saturday.
Hope that clears up some things.

Bikini Joust
$250 Total Purse: Winner Take All!!!!
Yes, a Bikini Joust. Can you think of a better way to end a day at the track than with beautiful, bikini-clad women going at it just like the Old American Gladiators used to? Well, this is Hyper-Fest and the fun doesn't stop when cars are shut-down and put away for the evening.
Here is how it will work.......
Each woman will stand on a pedestal and be provided with a safe, well-padded jousting device and a helmet
Each round will go until one woman is knocked from her pedestal
Best 2 out of 3 wins during each match
The winner of each match will proceed to the Bikini Joust Finals
Keep it safe and friendly!!!
The last woman standing will WIN $250!
There is NO ENTRY FEE - all you need is a bikini and the guts to
win $250! May the best woman win...........
Please Note: The objective of this event is not to hurt the opponent, but to simply force them to loose their balance and step down from the pedestal. Any unnecessary or intentional violence will not be allowed.

Yo!
There was nothing wrong with Bookler singing. I'd have him do it again. The PA system sucked at SP and cut out on him.
I get real touchy on this one.
Bling on!

Unfortunately, at this time I have nothing to do with that contest. I just cut and pasted that description from the hyper-fest website. I will however gladly offer to judge!
As for the national anthem singing, I'm retired. I get enough **** for my driving, I don't need to inspire more.

I just finished up a month long run as the lead in a musical up here. I've had enough singing for a while.
Thanks for the compliment though.
