i have a d15b2 block and the rings are blown, i need to know what size rings to get, should i buy oversized rings or what??

 

Are you boring the cylinders? Or just honing? That will determine if you need oversized.

Then get a standard bore ring.

 

Ya I think you can hone .010 beofre oversized rings are needed right?

Atleast thats the way it was in engine rebuilidng class, but that was for 350's and ****

 

.010? Thats ALOT when it comes to Hondas. The reboring limit is .020 or .5mm. Once you go that far you need a new block or needs to be sleeved.

 

You should get the cylinder measured and look it up in the manual. I rebuilt my b16 and when I measured the cylinder walls they were out of spec for the stock piston size. I ended up having it bored to the next size.
