Default blowoff valve for automatic accord

does anyone know what kind of blowoff valve will be have the best sound for an automatic 6th gen accord? because i feel that i if go turbo the bov is going to be the best part of it plus the trivial amounts of power gain that a f23 motor will get... thanks for all inputs

BOWAHAHAHA

so, best part of turbo will be the BOV sound, not the 50-60 extra whp for a 6-8 psi setup???

yeah i know, laugh all you want, but i really appreciate the sound of the blowoff valve! speed is important too, but how much can i really expect out of a f23 auto or manual? but i think the power gain is what i really should be after if i spend the money on boost... a good sounding blowoff valve is an added bonus

It sucks that you want it for the sound, but my 6gen auto accord made 200whp at 5psi. At 8-9 I can take a lot of street cars. But if it's the BOV sound you're after go with the Greddy Type-S mine sounds great.

Why don't you save some cash and get one of those fake bov that you screw into your exhaust tip.

It might cost you $20.

I second that. I've heard you can even get an electric "blowoff valve" that triggers when you let off the gas. It has all the fancy features you want like the Whoosh sound without all the unwanted side affects like extra horsepower and pushing your *** into the seat.

that's pretty impressive... are you running stock internals? did you at least get your cylinders sleeved? what are you doing to protect the transmission because i heard if the auto tranny can't really hold boost that well. but its pretty cool how you are 200 whp at 5 psi... gives hope for my accorn (i meant accord) too.

I only have a tranny cooler. Sleeves are actually the last thing you build up when building your block. Stock will hold a lot of power. Aftermarket sleeves are pretty expensive.
