Default What Injectors Built LS VTEC related Need Guidance and Advice

I am running an LS VTEC and I had to put it together a little quicker then I thought (I threw a rod on my B16)

So I dont have Injectors or Cams I have everything else. Here is my setup:

B18B Block
JE Pistons 12.5:1
Eagle Rods
Balanced and Blue Printed
B16 Head
Ferrea Valves
Type R Oil Pump
S2 Cam Gears
All new Seals and Gaskets new water pump and timing belt all that good stuff.

I also have a B&M FPR and right now I am running a Chipped OBD1 ECU OR the stock Si ECU.

Which one is going to be better? The Chip I currently have in a is a Mugen Style Program with a VTEC X at 4800 RPMs (I hate it I need a new chip)

My bolt ons suck but they will be upgraded later they are AEM Intake DC 4-1 Header and Apexi 2.5 N1

So what injector size should I go with? I am thinking AEM EMS is going to be my Fuel Management EVENTUALLY but I have no idea when. I might pick up a VAFC here shortly just to get things right.

Thoughts Suggestions?

Not sure, I'm in the same boat you are... I'm probably going to find some prelude injectors.

Cams would play a big part in deciding, but IMO 310's would be good.

Thats what I was thinking but am I going to be ok for now with the Stock injectors?

I am running B16 Cams for now. So I suppose when I do cams I need to do injectors and PROBABLY a fuel pump to go with the FPR?

I'm not sure why you want to go with AEM fuel management systems considering its around $1300, but its definitely a good system. But I would rather get hondata and save several hundred dollars to spend on a header.
The stock b16 injectors or any other honda injectors should be fine for now, but like you said when you get cams upgrade them, The stock ones should be at maximum duty cycle with your current setup.

well problems solved it looks like. I just ordered a Hondata S200 and a set of 310s. Looks like I am even MORE in debt but I shouldnt have any issues. Now I need some damn cams.

Not to ***** this thread, but, what is the difference between a B series and an H22 injector?

I believe your stock si injectors are 240 and prelude injectors range from 290-345 depending upon the year of the motor. Some are saturated and unsaturated.

your si has 240's. You need newer h22 injectors the obd IIs are a plug in and are 290 cc's.
