1997 Civic With Stuck Open Throttle - Yikes!
What is this, a short story. This isn't a book club it's a tech forum. Just state the problem along with some details. Nobody is going to read the whole thing. I lost intrest 3 lines into it.
Way too long.
Way too long.
Both of your responses were totally unnecessary and uncalled for. If you are SO busy that you don't have the time or inclination to read a user's post, simply don't read it and move on.
The snide remarks are not only rude, but are very telling as to your lack of maturity and intelligence.
You may be good with car skills, but, you both suck with people skills.

Note: If anyone has any VALUABLE feedback, I'd still be happy to hear it. =o)

Seriously, edit your post with your problem, then we can help. You do need the help, so you come here. Stories are not needed. Get to the point, problem solved.

Here's the deal. There have been a lot of posts that are too long. People on this site won't take the time to read them. Your gonna get flamed. I'm just suggesting that you shorten it to the facts. You'll get a better response. And don't take it personal. You might get flamed, but you'll also get some great info on this site.

I've climbed under the dash to ensure it wasn't a mechanical issue with the pedal, and it looks like the OTHER end of the throttle cable is stuck, as I've got slack under the dash. I've tried, but, I can't seem to trace the throttle linkage through the firewall.
Does anyone have a good picture?</TD></TR></TABLE>
