what were the wheater conditions, a stock si (99-00) should hit mid to low 15's no problem, however wheater conditions and driving could cause deviation. need more info

Let's put it like this. I have an 00 Si ran 15.6 bone stock. after that i got intake intake minaifold header exhaust hhit 15.1. The Si you raced had a rat in the intake.

dont jump the gun on that, my buddy has a gsr hatch....2100lb car, ran 15.4 at the track in 100 degree wheater, but several weeks later was in the mid 14's.......wheather plays a big role.

OK i should have been more clear the si had a cold air intake vtec controller set at 4000k and 18 in getto rims, he didnt even spin a tire in first and it was his first time running at the track, the weather was high 70's low humidity

i dunno if anyone noticed, but the guy's from Ohio. theyre at a much higher altitude there and cars wont run as fast as if they're in cali or any other coastal state.

my Si ran a 16.85 bone stock here in utah, which is good for a stock Si here. all the ones i was racing were hitting 17.0-17.4 (i think a huge part of that had something to do with their driving)

ya, elevation has alot to do with it. my 92 dx hatch with the d15b vtec, oem exhaust and 3" intake with hks filter, and gutted interior ran a best of 15.7@ 3950'. i went to portland and ran a 15.1 with the exact same setup on a track thats not prepped as good as ours here in boise.
