I see that you are online. I just posted a question regarding my Honda Del Sol.
Do you know of any interchangeable parts for this car with other Honda's. The front left park/turn light unit is my problem.

if you're goin to swap over the oil pump go with a B18C1/B20. LS oil pump sucks.

no its perfect...i just dont want to take a chance in blowing my motor up because it has 130K miles on it.... and i dont think that it could handle running 12's for very long like im planning to set up

your gonna spend more money building a reliable ls/vtec that can handle boost then you would spend getting the b16 block built for boost IMO

Stay with the b16 and bulletproof that one. I agree

Well either way, if your building up the motor for boost, especially an LS/VTEC setup for boost, your going to have downtime.

Well, this is your daily driver, and you want it to be reliable?? Then bulletproof the bottom end. Some may hold up to 300whp but not for long as a built setup.

I'd say if you're building the motor and you have to keep the one you got now cause you got to drive around, Just stay with a LS motor. Going with a vtec and boost is going to take lots of money and time. Just keep it simple, and in terms of reliability a frankenstein setup and boost will just limit that.

Decisions, decisions....
