I'm getting CEL codes 3, 10, and 21...need help!
First of all, I'm running a 93 civic ex with a stock jdm b16a gen2 and getting CEL codes 3, 10, and 21.
03=manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP)
10=intake air temperature sensor (IAT)
21=VTEC spool solenoid valve (*fixed)
I fixed code 21 and noticed VTEC is still not working. Could code 3 and 10 be the reason behind this? My MAP sensor wire is just hanging there behind the intake manifold. I have no clue where the MAP & the IAT sensors are. Anyone got a clear picture of them on the JDM B16A gen2?

code 10 wont cause you to not engage vtec so it must be the map sensor doing this.
the map sensor should be on top of the throttle body and as far as the IAT sensor im not sure for the b16's if its on the intake arm or the intake manifold. most are on the intake manifold.

my throttle cable looks almost exactly like this:

No holes of any kind for the map sensor on top of the throttle body.
anybody else have an idea?

If you want you could run your stock ex tb until you can upgrade and buy a itr or h22 one. I ran my z6 throttle body for awhile since I had a 1st gen b16 and it did not come with a map sensor.
It's been a while since I actually did a swap, so forgive me here if I'm off.
Is it possible that you have the MAP sensor and IAT sensir plugs reversed? I know that there are two sensors that have the same plug, and it's MAP and something else. Maybe IACV if not the IAT.
***EDIT***
I just saw that your MAP sensor is absent. Yeah grab one off of your old engine and mount it on the firewall and run the vacuum lines to it from your TB. The suggestions above are correct.
Your IAT sensor should be on your intake manifold, on one of the runners. It should have two wires going to it.

The two same ones are the tps and map sensor. They are very close and are easy to hook into the wrong one

This is a typical B16a sensor setup. I know I'll have to use my z6 Map sensor and put it on the firewall since mine is not on top of the throttle body.
Can someone tell me if I labeled these right?

that is correct on the map and tps and iat, It would prob be just as good to use the ex tb since when I took off my obd0 b16 one it didnt look any wider... but when I looked at the 00si tb you could tell a big difference in the size

IAT sensor DOES NOT have the same plug as TPS/MAP/EGR.
If the motor is a OBD0 with the OBD0 intake and TB, You can not put a OBD1+ TB on it, it will have a huge vaccum leak and rev straight to 5000 RPM.

I stand corrected. You do have to use a obd1 intake manifold if you want to run your ex tb.
