Oh oh, 'excessive' tire camber wear, what to check besides alignment?
Stock ITR suspension, but former owner had it lowered. I'm thinking previous accident or sus wear due to lowering. Running 205/50's, first on stock ITR rims, then on 15x7 +43 Volks. Inner edge rear especially, all 4, but much more on right side.
Tires are rotated < every 5000 mi. Hard driven street on rough pavement. Could this just be because left turns are usually harder than rights in the mountains (limited view on rights, so slower?). 50K on the R, and should be legit mileage. During the last inspection, I noticed hairline cracks on the control arm rubber bushings (outside lower edge), the one's near the end of the front lower control arms.
I had it aligned, but in my ricer town, who knows if they did it right. I will be getting the alignment re-checked by a good race car sus shop, and replacing all control arm rubbers.
Is this kind of tire wear normal on an R?

No, not on a stock suspension with stock alignment settings.
Check toe settings.
Check for any evidence of an accident.

R's dont have adjustable camber, do they? Not putting it past local tire shop to have done a crap alignment either.

As others are beginning to hint, wear like this is usually due to unusual toe settings, not camber.
Your camber would have to be way off (like three degrees) for you to notice wear caused by camber.
It's more likely caused by an unusual toe setting because either the car was not aligned after the lowering, or it was aligned by a shop that has never heard the phrase "thrust angle."
Before you do anything else, get an alignment from a good shop. I.e., not a mass market shop like Merchants Auto. Some NTB shops have a guy who does "performance alignments" and he would be someone who'd take enough time to make sure it's correct.
You might also ask any Honda Challenge drivers in your locality with whom you're acquainted. They might be aware of a small service garage that will take the time to do it right.
It's not all that hard to do w/the right equipment. I guess the majority of people are just too lazy to do it right.

HAHAHHAHAHHA! Thrust Angle owns! LOL
Thanks All! Did a ton more searching and reading last night, and came to the same conclusion. My alignment shop sucks! Found someone with the latest Hunter machine, up to date with R specs. I'll have them go through it and see what's up. Just sux those dorks charged me for alignment and toasted a set of tires. I'll get even on the $$ eventually tho. Found a great tire shop in the process, and thanks to HT, the knowledge to demand the spec sheet afterwards so I can interpret. Also going to free scales to check my corner weights
Went through the caR again today top to bottom, found the right rear upper control arm anchor bolts not torqued correctly and fixed, so that may be some of it. Good alignment will tell me if anything is bent so I can fix it. THanks again HT!
