I'm about to install a short shifter on my car, Does anyone have any pictures to aid in my installation?

Thanks I thought that was all it took. So it's just a pain to get to the last couple bolts?

Default Installed

I installed the short shifter. I have a Civic HX 98. All of the bolt's were actually 12mm and the two on the bracket that needed to be taken off to seperate the shifter from the rest were 10's. It was quite easy, the hardest part was the washers betweent the shifter and the linkage. It was tough to slide them in. Other then that it's great. For futer reference make sure you put it in the right direction. If you do mess it up it's a 5 minue fix. Also don't get that large of a change unless you plan to do a little work. Because the linkage is right above the exhust pipe. Because my shifter was so long at the bottom in fifth and when I hit a bump the shifter rattles. I just have to bend the exhaust pipe away or switch it so it's not rubbing. But I have to get a new exhaust anyway, so it will all work out in the end. Thanks for all the help!

prepare to be under there again shortly when it breaks...i've broken two. Now i have a Skunk2 SS and haven't needed to touch in a year so far.

Install isn't too bad, but i've had issues with two bolts with flat heads, they kept turning and i've had to ask people to hold them for me from the inside of the car, twas a bitch.

I got the B&M short shifter and i have had no problems with it ever. I did break my friends stock shifter, got a nice cut on my arm from it. Bushings are cool for the price but i didnt notice a huge difference. Im gonna get a whole prothane kit here soon after i get back from the beach. Hope fully ill see one then.

How did you break it? Did the actual shifter part break?
