well i'm a owner of the G5 for a lil over 4 months.. everything is working great till the other day.. i armed my alarm and while i was walking away.. about 10 seconds later i hear 4 chirps.. when i got home i checked my guide and it says that the alarm is bypassing zones 1,3, and 8. zone 1 is my proximity senor, but that seems to work fine.. zone 3 is my MUX 1 Trigger.. have no IDea what that is... and zone 8 is mux 2 trigger... i have no idea what MUX is..!!! haha and i have no IDEA how to fix this problem.. can someone help plz!!! and i cant bring it back to the store.. they wont touch it cuz i installed a new deck and moves some wires around... thanks ahead of time

 

Your alarm is telling you that one of those zones is open,[triggered] this means that one of the input trigger leads is seeing a ground, and if the prox is working I would say is 3 or 8 .

Check the alarm wireing , if there are unused trig. or option wires still on the alarm harness ,remove them.

couldent it also mean that one of his sensors is too sensitive... and something was setting it off?
