You can do all the above without it,BUT it makes the world of differance having it.
Without one the car pulls funny in the steering when you shift the gears when you are getting on it.

okay going from a one leg S1
to a LSD by Kaaz install made a day and nite difference
since I was use to be really to counter steer on the launches
and on the turns it hooks both sides not like before only on right turns
if u believe it doesn't make a difference then u might not even have LSD

I have a ctr motor and I have LSD lol
too me i don't feel any difference but maybe because I never drove a car without lsd

in a nut shell it locks both of your wheels to turn together when you turn..
not just one...
for you I would not pay to get an LSD..
For any one who races..yes get one... huge difference

^Yes it grabs the passenger side only. If your making a left at a big intersection and get on it you will either need to counter steer or you'll just kinda drift into the next lane. Kinda sux.
