Rebuilding d16z6
Wow. Talk about an investment.
Head to I assume.
The list is huge and off the top of my head, pitons rings, rod bearings, head bolts (maybe) valve seals, cam seal, timing belt, water pump, oil pump (maybe), crank bearings, and block honing.

soooo are you UPGRADING, did your engine blow and ur fixin it? or what?
you going forced induction or NA,
you want a gnarly high compression setup, or something more mild???
what?
I was thinking about rebuilding my d15b,
and wanted to do it cheap as possible,
from what I was told I should DEFINETLY get new bearings and piston rings,
and have the block rebored and honed. new pistons are recommended.. but imo you you could probly live with used ones.
having a shop do it would be very expensivo
for all the labor.

Nothing is cheaper when it's done by a shop.
